Yoga Teacher Training program 1 (200 hour level)

Develop a personal yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice, as well as learn tools to create a mindful and compassionate yoga practice for self and in teaching others. You will learn Yoga Postures, (Asanas), Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Psychology, Yoga Anatomy, Therapeutic Yoga, Chanting, Chakras, Mudras, Bandhas and Ancient Healing Techniques; Yoga Nidra; Prana Vidya; including Reiki Attunement; energy and grounding processes, Ayurveda, and Siddhi Yoga. This training program develops your ability to communicate the underlying science, philosophy, and spirituality of yoga, through self observation and immersion in the process itself. Bring mat, blanket, pillow, journal, and brown bag lunch. No previous yoga experience necessary. Certificate awarded upon completion, with RYT 200 Hour status application.

Training registered through Yoga Alliance. Look for new Yoga Therapy Certification in Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (500 Hour Level) registered thru the Yoga Alliance.

Former ballet dancer, owner and choreographer of a professional dance studio, Energy Healer, Intuitive, and Creator of Heart Light Yoga. Nia White Belt Intensive

White Belt Intensive
All Nia intensive training begins with a three month, pre-training program that includes the Nia at-home study course with video tapes and reading material. A 40+ hour, 7-day training program completes each level of every Nia intensive training and is offered at various sites around the world.

Upon completion of the Nia intensive training, and in order to teach Nia as a certified teacher, a Nia certification fee is paid annually which includes:

* Eight hours of video taped educational and class/workshop material
* Permission to use the Nia name and logo
* Use of the Nia 800 phone number
* Written material for reprint
* The Nia Newsletter
* Option to purchase the Nia Business and Marketing Manual, complete with art, educational, technical and professional support
* Professional, personal, public relations and office support, including class, workshop, presentation and speaker referrals.

The Nia White Belt Level 1 teaching provides trainees with the physical sensation of Nia. The foundation of the training consist of 13 principles laid systematically by Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas. Each session will have a specific focus that explores the Science--Art & Craft of each principle in an experiential and cognitive way. Nia classes are taught each day along with Freedance session. The training provides the foundation to then obtain the Nia license, work with the continuing education videos and then to begin to teach Nia.
